Glossary of Coarian Religion
Bishop – The class of clergy who oversees clerics. Bishops serve over a territory called a Bishopric, typically a region of a province, a large city, or, in the case of Corvit, and sector of a city.
Cleric – The clergy of the Coarian Communion. Typically, one or more clerics serve at a Temple, conducting ceremonies and providing spiritual guidance.
Coarian Communion – The state religion of Coar, the Coarian Communion is a monotheistic faith whose deity is called the Creator.
Temple – The house of worship for the Coarian Communion. Temples are locations for daily to weekly ceremonies, usually house a Temple Academy, and serve as a gathering place for the communities they serve.
